To support Netrality’s continued growth, we seek a Manager, Procurement. This is a high-impact leadership role that is new to our expanding organization. This position is responsible for developing and executing strategic procurement initiatives across all third-party direct and indirect spend, including, critical equipment, services, and construction-related purchases across our expanding owner-operated and edge data center portfolio. This individual will execute on sourcing initiatives, drive supplier negotiations, mitigate supply chain risks, and optimize sourcing strategies across the enterprise.
This position will work cross-functionally with asset management, engineering, construction, operations, legal, sales, and finance teams to ensure on-time project execution, cost efficiency, and adherence to sustainability and compliance objectives.

Description of Responsibilities\
Strategic Procurement Leadership
- Develop and execute long-term procurement strategies across all direct and indirect categories
- Ensure the procurement strategy is consistently aligned and adapted to Netrality’s strategic objectives and expansion roadmap
- Optimize vendor selection, pricing models, and risk management to drive cost efficiencies and operational resilience; stay abreast of supply chain risks and mitigation
- Develop a robust network of suppliers and implement a Supplier Enabled Innovation (SEI) program in partnership with operations and engineering leadership
- Drive supplier negotiations and contracting for major equipment and service agreements, securing the best commercial terms while managing risk.
- Partner with engineering and construction teams to drive design standardization and procurement efficiency across projects.
- Develop and execute cost-saving initiatives through strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and spend analysis, ensuring procurement meets annual savings targets
- Oversee the strategy, implementation, and optimization of procurement systems and tools while ensuring policy compliance, governance, and continuous process improvements
- Manage the full procure-to-pay (P2P) process, including requisition approvals, purchase orders (POs), supplier invoicing, and payment reconciliation, ensuring seamless coordination between internal customers and external vendors
- Lead procurement budget planning and financial oversight, ensuring cost efficiency, forecasting accuracy, and alignment with overall business objectives and capital project funding
- Develop strong relationships with key vendors including OEMs, distributors, service providers, general contractors, and subcontractors to ensure a reliable and high-performing supply base.
- Establish a supplier performance management program, ensuring on-time delivery, quality standards, and cost competitiveness.
- Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, from RFP development and bid analysis to contract negotiation and execution.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and sustainability initiatives, including ESG and responsible sourcing practices.
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to mitigate supply chain disruptions and ensure on-time delivery of key equipment and materials.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives and continuous procurement process improvements.
- Maintain tracking and inventory of 3rd party partners and where they are utilized.
- Utilize data analytics and forecasting tools to optimize inventory planning, supplier lead times, and budget forecasting.
- Evaluate and implement best-in-class procurement technologies and automation tools to improve efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
- 7 years of procurement experience, with a proven track record in strategic sourcing, category management, and supplier negotiations.
- 5 years of leadership experience, managing category managers and procurement teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- Deep expertise in data center procurement or similar industries such as mission-critical facilities, construction, or high-tech manufacturing.
- Experience with sourcing and managing contracts across direct and indirect categories, particularly those related to data center operations
- Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, cost modeling, and total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis.
- Exceptional negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
- Proficiency with procurement software (e.g. SAP Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer, etc.) and data analytics tools.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, initiative taker
- Strong knowledge of compliance, risk management, and ESG procurement strategies.
- Experience with large capital projects ($100MM ).
- Knowledge of data center operations and commercial real estate procurement needs.
- MBA or advanced degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
- Industry certifications (CPSM, CIPS, PMP, or Six Sigma) are a plus.
