Fiber Optic Technician

We are looking for skilled Cable/Fiber Optic Technician.

Responsibilities:

1. Install, splice, and test fiber optic cables according to project specifications.

2. Hands on experience on single and ribbon both splicing

3. Experienced in using different brands of splicing machines including Fujikura.

4. Proven experience in preparing and installation of different nodes/ enclosures.

5. Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of fiber optic networks.

6. Assist in the planning and design of fiber optic installations.

7. Conduct quality checks to ensure adherence to industry standards and project requirements.

8. Work closely with project managers and other team members to complete projects efficiently.

9. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used.

10. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on fiber optic installations.

11. Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in fiber optic technology.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications preferred.

2. Proven experience in fiber optic installations, splicing, and testing.

3. Familiarity with fiber optic tools, equipment, and testing procedures.

4. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

5. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

7. Willingness to travel and work in various locations as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.26 - $30.00 per hour
