Job Description:
We are seeking experienced SDH/SONET/DWDM Project & Migration Engineers to join our team for a 12-month deployment and migration project across multiple locations in the US. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in large-scale network infrastructure projects, particularly in the migration of SDH or DWDM services from legacy platforms to next-generation technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement migration solutions for SDH/SONET/DWDM services.
- Install, configure, and commission legacy and next-gen telecom equipment.
- Conduct system integration, troubleshooting, and testing to ensure network stability.
- Work closely with project teams to meet deadlines and ensure successful deployment.
- Provide technical support and documentation for all installation and migration activities.
Required Product Knowledge:
Candidates should have experience with one or more of the following:
- Alcatel Lucent: BWM, TDM10G, DACS, DMX
- Ciena: 6110, 6500, 5410, 5430
- Nortel: TN Series
- Marconi: SMA Series
- Cisco: ONS15454
- ADVA: FSP
Requirements:
- Proven experience in SDH/SONET/DWDM installation, commissioning, and migration projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of telecom network infrastructure and legacy-to-modern system upgrades.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced project environment.
- Must have a valid work permit for the US (No sponsorship available).
Start Date:
- 2 to 3 weeks from offer acceptance
