About the Director of Accounting Operations / Shared Services role :
The Director of Accounting Operations / Shared Services will report to the Sr. Director of Accounting Operations / Shared Services will over see Accounts Payable, Travel & Entertainment related activities / audits and Data Quality and will have manager(s) as well independent contributors reporting to this role.
Essential Responsibilities :
- Analyzing existing workflows for responsible area to ensure that responsibilities are clearly defined, documented and measurable
- Ensure the operation of monitoring controls over staff work product
- Monitoring metrics and team performance to ensure that resources are deployed effectively and crossed trained properly
- Working with the global accounting organization to ensure that inputs into the general ledger are complete / timely / accurate
- Proactively drive process improvement / efficiency
- Coordinating communication with leaders from the Sales, Human Resources and Legal Organizations
