Network Engineer-(Onsite)

Responsibilities

• Setup and configuration of complex network environments
• Establish and maintain networking environment by implementing system configuration; directing system installation; defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards
• Maximize network performance through proactive monitoring; troubleshooting network problems and outages; plan, document, and schedule upgrades and changes to network infrastructure; collaborates with network architects on network optimization, design, and implementation
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the basics behind the Internet and its workings (Security , IP Routing, VPN, etc.)
• Maintain multi-site network operations and regular maintenance with both private and public facilities
• Understand network security protocols and make security-focused improvements efficiently and effectively
• This position is onsite in Overland Park, KS
