Responsibilities
- Administer and troubleshoot multi-site Linux/UNIX and Windows-based Netsmart application environments for turn-key and cloud clients
- Implement and maintain system security protocols in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 27000 series requirements for client environments
- Provide direct support to clients including rapid response to inquiries, issue resolution, and escalation management according to service level agreements
- Manage technical documentation including white papers, work instructions, knowledge base articles, and client-facing communications according to departmental standards and best practices
Required
- CompTIA A certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
- Basic understanding of Windows and Linux/UNIX operating systems
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact professionally with clients
- Demonstrated ability to maintain composure and effectiveness while working in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
- Previous internship or academic project experience in information technology or system administration
- Familiarity with database management systems such as Microsoft Structured Query Language (MS-SQL), Oracle, or similar platforms
- Knowledge of Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) requirements and security best practices
- Experience with technical documentation or knowledge base management
