Please note that this is a 1-year contract position.
- This role will sit Onsite in Malvern, PA
- Bachelors degree is required
- Industry experience is required
- This role will be more of an "Operations Role", not a Scientist standing at a desk
- Candidates must have excellent "people skills"
- Must be flexible and able to multi-task
- This role "hosts the field of service people"
- Required to have understanding in Compliance
- Will be responsible for getting service reports back from field service people
- Must have Laboratory skills, at least 3 skills from the job description
- Ability to multi-task, coordinate activities with internal and external operations and service teams, service providers, site quality, and analysts to ensure lab operation activities are completed and compliant is required.
- Experience with electronic laboratory notebook, Microsoft Office products, SmartSheets, Power BI or Tableau is preferred.
- Ability to work with limited guidance to plan, execute, and follow through with work assignments is expected

1) Candidate must meet degree and industry experience requirement
2) must have three of the lab ops skills noted
3) must be able to multi-task and work with vendors and team members
Job Description:
Bachelor s degree or equivalent, in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related subject area, with a minimum of 2 or more years of related industry laboratory experience is required, or a Master s degree with 1 or more years of related industry laboratory experience is required.
Strong verbal communication skills are required. Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills (written and oral) and the ability to work in a cross-functional customer-focused environment is required. Must have demonstrated ability to drive completion of activities in a timely manner.
Experience working in a GXP environment is required.
Experience with a minimum of three lab operation activities is required (listed below).
Lab Operation activities include but are not limited to:
o Instrument management which includes but not limited to scheduling preventive maintenance/calibration/IQ/OQ activities, new equipment onboarding, moves, documentation maintenance, etc.
o Chamber management which includes but is not limited to cleanouts, defrosts, and equipment and reagent moves.
o Lab safety, housekeeping, and organization
o Laboratory audits and quality assurance
o Scheduling, communicating, and hosting vendors.
