Hybrid if the candidate is in New Jersey, remote if the candidate on the West Coast.
Top Required Skills
1. 3-5 years experience in logistics, supply chain, and transportation (preferably Air transport).
2. Familiarity with shipping paperwork, managing shipments, and working with custom agents
3. Familiarity with supply chain constituents; brokers, freight forwarders, freight providers, carriers, CMOs/CROs, and depot/warehouse providers.
4. Experience with MS Word, Excel, Web Applications
5. ERP experience
6. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders.
Home Run/Desired Skills
1. Experience with international shipping and the understanding of international distribution channels and strategy (i.e. country/regional depots vs. direct-to-site).

5. Familiarity with clinical supply trial business, clinical supply packaging, kits and labeling activities, blinding activities, randomization for studies, and the urgency of clinical distribution.
6. Experience in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry.
Responsibilities:
Manage transportation oversight from origin to destination, including tracking and tracing for shipments in assigned lanes.
Monitor carrier performance and address any transportation-related issues, including documenting Transportation investigations.
Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
Collaborate with external partners and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Function in a team environment and pursue information when it is not readily available.
Support the functional area expert (SME) on initiatives and projects.
Work with GCS, Logistics, Trade Operations, and Country Operations to manage and expedite shipments, customs clearance, and develop process improvement programs for global distribution warehouses.
Ensure adherence to regulatory, security, global, and site policies and procedures governing operations activities.
Qualifications:
BA/BS Degree preferred.
3 5 years of work experience in transportation, preferably Air.
Familiarity with international shipping paperwork, international shipments, and custom agents.
Familiarity with international supply chain constituents: brokers, freight forwarders, freight providers, carriers, CMOs/CROs, and depot/warehouse providers.
Experience with international shipping and an understanding of international distribution channels and strategy (e.g., country/regional depots vs. direct-to-site).
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Web Applications.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with temperature control practices.
SAP and ERP system experience.
Knowledge of cGDPs.
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Formulation, Packaging, Clinical Supply Planning, Clinical Operations, Country Operations, CRO, Regulatory, Trade Compliance, Global Logistics, and third-party providers.
