NetSPI is hiring for our 2025 Summer Internship Program . We are excited to welcome a software engineer intern to our team for the summer. Internship details :
- Timing : June 9th – August 15th, 2025
- 30-40 hours / week
- 20 / hour
- Location : Onsite in Minneapolis at NetSPI’s Headquarters
Intern Responsibilities :
Collaborate with the development team to design, implement, and test new features for software applications.Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Java.Assist with debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving software issues.Participate in code reviews and contribute to discussions on best practices and new technologies.Learn and apply agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).Assist in writing and maintaining technical documentation.Conduct research and support the development of innovative solutions.Test software for performance, security, and user experience improvements.Gain exposure to the full software development lifecycle, from concept to production.Qualifications :
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program (junior / senior status preferred)Currently working toward Computer Science, Software Engineering MajorKnowledge of one or more programming languages such as Java, C , Python, JavaScript, or similar.Familiarity with development tools such as Git, Visual Studio, or similar.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to work independently or as part of a team.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements.Based in the Twin Cities with the ability to be on-site at NetSPI’s headquarters for the duration of the internship.Preferred Qualifications :
Cloud based experience in AWS, GCP, and / or Azure.Basic knowledge of APIs.Experience and understanding of containerization, such as Docker.Familiarity with Kali Linux and how to use it to its potential.Experience and interest in security related work.
