We are looking for a proactive and experienced Network Infrastructure Manager to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our company’s network and telecommunications infrastructure. This individual will oversee a team of network technicians, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of all systems and services supporting our business operations at event facilities.
This position is only open to candidates currently living in Columbus, Ohio and surrounding areas.
NetSteady is not open to C2C, agencies, recruiters, nor any employment arrangement other than direct hire. Furthermore we are not open to visa sponsorships at this time.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, firewalls, switches, routers).
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and optimization of all network hardware and software.
- Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and standards for network management and security.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
- Manage and mentor a team of network engineers, support staff, and contractors.
- Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and internal teams for upgrades, maintenance, and support.
- Plan and execute infrastructure projects, including expansions, migrations, and cloud integration.
- Maintain documentation related to network design, configurations, and inventory.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and data protection regulations.
- Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans related to network operations.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend investments for continuous improvement.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3–5 years of experience in network engineering, with at least 1 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of enterprise-grade network equipment and best practices.
Industry certifications preferred (CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network , etc.).
Familiarity with network monitoring tools.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
