Nettles Construction Solutions, Inc. is bolstering its local resources in the Houston, TX area and is currently seeking a Concrete Finisher/Gypcrete Foreman that has experience in commercial construction installing Gypcrete, waterproofing and finishing elevated concrete on balconies and breezeways. This individual should possess great organizational skills, leadership qualities, and effective communication skills. Starting Pay is $28.00-$32.00 per hour and will be commensurate with the level of experience, knowledge, and ability you bring. We’re also offering up to a $10K signing bonus!
Nettles Construction Solutions is a commercial subcontractor, specializing in Lightweight Insulating Concrete Roof Systems, Flowable Fill, Gypcrete Floors, Elevated Concrete and Waterproofing, Sprayed Fireproofing, and Operable Partitions.

Responsibilities
This position will be responsible for building and managing the field operations of a construction crew;
- Installing and finishing elevated concrete, waterproofing and Gypcrete.
- Assist Gypcrete Superintendent establish an additional Gypcrete and elevated concrete field crew in the Houston, TX area.
- Manage and assist construction crews on projects located throughout Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.
- Travel will be required.
Initial training period;
- Work along-side experienced crew learning how to install our products and how to operate and maintain our equipment.
Requirements
- Experience managing field operations and coordination of job-site logistics and planning with Nettles’ Operations Team, general contractors and other subcontractors.
- Experience installing and running work, at a Foreman level, for a commercial Gypcrete contractor.
- Experience finishing elevated concrete balconies and breezeways.
- Valid US driver’s license.
- Must pass a drug screening and physical.
- Must be willing to travel extensively throughout TX, OK, AR, LA.
Preferred Qualifications
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- Bi-lingual (Spanish/English)
