- Support entry of production reporting from shifts 1-3 as needed
- Helps drive continuous improvement programs
- Works with QA Manager in establishing, implementing and auditing company ISO System
- Works as part of Company New Product Launch Team
- Performs first article inspections, customer approval documents and retains samples

- Maintain quality control lab, safety and 5S housekeeping under supervision of QA Manager.
- Inspecting output samples using industry-appropriate methods such as calipers and gauges, measuring dimensions and examining functionality.
- Responsible for mentoring and training of quality audit team on proper use of gages and equipment across all shifts
- Responsible for insuring that MCP’s and audit plans are controlled on production floor per our document control system
- Utilizes all gauges, tools, and devices within the quality department to correctly measure parts always to insure that zero defect are sent our customers
- Responsible for ensuring inspection documents are setup and maintained in IQMS.
- Responsible for all incoming inspections of vendor products.
- Responsible for completion and maintaining Certificates of Compliance required by customer
- Responsible for providing support for NCR and CR actions including driving metrics, root cause analysis and corrective actions for internal quality problems or customer complaints.
- Part of MRB Team. Responsible for reconciling MRB parts within IQMS.
- Maintains company first shot and last shot samples to insure organization and availability to staff
- Maintain quality control lab, safety and 5S housekeeping.
Education:
- 2 year college degree in technical discipline or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 10 years technical quality experience within manufacturing environment
- A positive attitude
- Understanding of ISO standards and company systems and procedures
- Proficient in quality control testing including calibration, internal audits, document control, trace-ability)
- Statistical Process Control (SPC) tools and data analysis
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Good interpersonal skills both written and verbal
- Ability to make timely fact-based decisions; shows good judgment
- Proficient in the ability to read and interpret Engineering Drawings
- Ability to work independently and handle projects to completion
- Ability to oversee and drive quality improvement projects
