The Inventory Control Specialist plays a crucial role in managing and optimizing inventory levels to ensure the efficient operation of supply chain processes. Responsibilities:
- Supply Chain Management:
- Coordinate seamless receipt and dispatch of goods with couriers and suppliers.
- Ensure timely and accurate inventory management, including quarterly counts and adherence to materials transfer processes.
- Collaborate with the Purchasing Specialist to address any product discrepancies and ensure timely receipt of orders.
Warehouse Operations:
- Authenticate goods received and manage shipments with discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and inventory of products.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and stock.
Administrative Tasks:
- Match purchase orders to packing slips and update order information in ConnectWise.
- Organize paperwork, filing, and document retention in accordance with company standards.
- Coordinate delivery of materials to job sites.
- Track and manage tool inventory, cleaning supplies, and office supplies.
Compliance and Safety:
- Adhere to all provincial, local, and company health and safety regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company policies and procedures.
- Present a professional image of NetWatch at all times.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate effectively with team members to improve overall operations.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Strong ability to coordinate with couriers and suppliers.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and warehouse/inventory systems.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to lift 75-100 pounds
- Preferred Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a warehousing facility.
- Preferred experience in the physical security or low-voltage industry.
- Valid and clean driver's license.
This position is essential for maintaining the balance between supply and demand, ensuring that the organization can meet customer needs while minimizing excess inventory.
