We are the public community behavioral health organization responsible for the delivery of mental health, substance abuse disorder, and developmental disabilities services for Kent County. We are seeking an Access Services Manager to be assigned to front door operations, providing direction and overseeing flow of the initial client touchpoints in the Access Center, which includes but is not limited to, welcoming staff, security, front door clinical staff, and per diem clinical staff. This position will provide operational oversight, process improvement, clinical leadership and expertise, supervise assigned staff, and provide consultation to clinicians and providers to assure appropriate levels of care and access to necessary services.
To ensure access to Mental Health, Substance Abuse, Developmental Disability and Access Line services, the Access Services Manager will participate in the development of plans and strategies to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of Access Center services with other organizational leadership team members.
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. This position requires participation in the on-call manager rotation schedule.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or Counseling Psychology.
- Fully Licensed in the State of Michigan as a Master Social Worker, Professional Counselor, or Psychologist.
- At least two years of post-Master’s degree experience in delivery of behavioral health services.
- Knowledge of crisis intervention and treatment methodology.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for job related use.
- Computer skills, including use of Microsoft Office programs and telehealth.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Fully Licensed in the State of Michigan as a Master Social Worker (LMSW) preferred
- MCBAP, CAADC certification preferred
- Two years’ supervisory experience preferred
- Two years minimum of outpatient therapy preferred
- Knowledge and practice of DBT, CBT
- Knowledge and work in an CMH Access Center Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued
