Associate Director of Utilization Management and Care Coordination

We are the behavioral health community organization responsible for the delivery of mental health, substance abuse treatment coordination, and developmental disabilities services for Kent County. We are seeking an Associate Director of Utilization Management and Care Coordination to provide direct cross-population utilization management for identified services which leads to cost-effective quality outcomes, informed providers, accurate claims payment, fair conflict resolution, and meaningful continuous dialogue with internal and external stakeholders. This position requires direct care coordination efforts across populations to ensure services are coordinated among individuals’ cross-system providers.
This position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. This assignment is hybrid with both remote and in-person responsibilities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Nursing.
- Licensed Master of Social Work, Limited Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Registered Nurse.
- At least five years of progressively more responsible clinical experience in delivery of behavioral health services.
- At least two years of supervisory experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of managed care and utilization management practices.
- Experience in performing utilization review and/or providing clinical services in an intensive treatment setting.
- Thorough working knowledge of the practices and principles of psychological, emotional, and sociological assessment and diagnosis.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed theories, principles, and practices.
- Thorough working knowledge of professional ethics and standards of practice.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for job related use.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and skills and capabilities of bridging language/cultural barriers to Network180 services within diverse communities. Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, email, database management, and data entry skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least eight years of progressively more responsible clinical experience in delivery of behavioral health services. Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued.
