We need individuals who are passionate about making a difference by helping others.
We are seeking a Crisis Center Nurse Practitioner. As part of a multidisciplinary team-based service, this role provides psychiatric evaluations and short-term medication management, in consultation with a collaborative Psychiatrist, for patients who are admitted to the Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU), a program within the 24-hour Behavioral Health Crisis Center.
Network 180’s Behavioral Health Crisis Center is a 24/7 facility that serves adults 18 years and older and includes a walk-in Brief Intervention Clinic and a secure Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU). The Crisis Center aims to provide these services to individuals whose crisis will typically resolve within a few hours, however, may require up to seventy-two (72) hours of treatment; and where services can be voluntary or involuntary.
The CSU fills a key gap in the Kent County Crisis Continuum of Care and provides a more efficient, effective, equitable crisis behavioral health care in a setting designed and staffed to provide this type of treatment.
The CSU also aims to divert individuals from jail, emergency departments, and inpatient psychiatric hospital settings to an appropriate least restrictive treatment setting whenever it can be achieved safely and successfully.
