Training Manager

We are the behavioral health community organization responsible for the delivery of mental health, substance abuse treatment coordination, and developmental disabilities services for Kent County. We need individuals who are passionate about making a difference by helping others.
We are seeking a Training Manager to Lead the Network180 Training Department, including ensuring effective delivery of e-learning, classroom training, and special training projects. The Training Manager will manage, design, develop, and coordinate online and in person training operations and programs, supervise Network180 training staff and develop and manage contracts with external trainers. This position has minimal direct training and is more focused on the administration required to run a training department.
This position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. There are no weekends, on call, or holiday requirements for this position. There may be irregular hours or shift times. This position is hybrid with both remote and in-person responsibilities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree in Social Work
- Full or limited license in the State of Michigan as a master social worker, Knowledge of treatment and methodologies as they relate to persons with developmental disabilities, mental illness and substance abuse.
- Experience working in a CMH system, including staff training requirements and standards for Person Centered Planning and Individual Plans of Service.
- Experience and ability to design and deliver training materials using interactive adult learning models.
- Experience with technological skills including LMS management and instructional design.
- Ability to communicate with a variety of organizations and people in a clear, concise and positive manner.
- Well-developed public speaking skills.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for job related use.
- Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued. Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and skills and capabilities of bridging language/cultural barriers to Network180 services within diverse communities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Expertise in training individuals to provide evidence-based practices such as Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
- Experience in developing and managing online training.
- Experience in administering continuing education credit for behavioral health professionals. Supervisory experience.
