Job Description :
Media Center (MC) facilities are multimedia presentation and collaboration facilities comprised of a variety of meetings tools and technologies for customers to use, that include video teleconferencing (VTC). A MC Audiovisual Technician is a frontline customer service engagement position. The primary function of this position is to provide Media Center audiovisual installation, operation, fault isolation and maintenance technician services and to assist in the facilitation of multimedia and video teleconferencing meetings. This is a full-time position residing at a customer site.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities :
Provide audiovisual installation, operation, fault isolation and technical support services for the following types of systems :
- Video teleconferencing systems (e.g. Polycom, Cisco, Vidyo, MS Teams, etc.)
- Video systems, switchers, distribution amplifiers and similar technologies
- Audio systems and sub systems (e.g. Biamp, Clearone, Extron, etc.)
- Video wall systems (e.g. Planar, Sharp, etc.)
- Standalone display and projection systems
- Control systems (e.g. AMX, Extron, Crestron, etc.)
- Digital signage
- Ensure site user documentation is current and complete
- Staff and operate facility equipment during meetings as required
- Shut down, clean and secure facilities at the end of the day
- Perform other duties as required

lift in excess of 40 pounds
