Meet Our Leadership Team
The Structural Engineer II will support the Design Team with varying degrees of direct project responsibilities while developing a baseline knowledge of the telecommunications site development process. Project work will focus on new site development of macro and small cell sites, the modification of existing telecommunications facilities and other project types as required. Responsibilities will focus on engineering tower and mount designs while developing an understanding of client-specific telecommunications equipment and their usage.
Job Responsibilities :
- Structural engineering design and analysis of telecommunications towers, mounts, water tanks, and various antenna supporting structures
- Develop construction plans for telecommunications client equipment upgrades and modifications
- Prepare and review structural analysis reports for completeness before final PE review
- Analyze and design all types of structural support designs using building materials such as steel, concrete, masonry, light-gage, and wood
- Perform calculations conforming to building code requirements for structural design and analysis
- Interact with internal multi-disciplinary team members to expedite project completion and approvals
- Create effective job flow by tracking assigned tasks and prioritizing completion of assignments accordingly
- Learn telecommunications equipment and client-specific equipment and their usage
- Evaluate designs for constructability, safety, and cost-effectiveness
