Job Summary: As a CAD Designer, you will be responsible for the AutoCAD creation of our wireless infrastructure project plans and drawings for new site builds, modifications to existing sites, right-of-way sites, and associated items.

Job Summary: As a CAD Designer, you will be responsible for the AutoCAD creation of our wireless infrastructure project plans and drawings for new site builds, modifications to existing sites, right-of-way sites, and associated items.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design/drafting of zoning and construction drawings, site plans, redline corrections, etc. for the purpose of wireless siting.
- Coordination with other team members and other offices in regard to plan readiness.
- Communicate drawing status and schedule to Project Manager and other team members.
- Ability to self-direct and prioritize workload.
- Organization and attention to detail are necessary for this position.
- The availability to work overtime as needed per project demands and staffing levels.
- Ability to perform field surveys and permit application tasks when cross-training opportunities arise.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and team player attitude.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- 3-5 years experience with AutoCAD.
- Experience designing within telecommunications is required.
- Formal CAD education from trade school (or equivalent) is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of civil, electrical, mechanical and/or structural disciplines preferred.
- Experience with wireless, outside plant, and inside plant fiber optic design preferred.
