Summary: This position will be responsible for verification of deliverables to the customer while overseeing the safety and quality of subcontractors, in-house crews and job sites.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Accountable for the site safety, quality, schedule and cost on assigned projects.
- Responsible for assuring availability of resources with proper expertise and tools to support assigned construction project execution.
- Must have ability to read and understand construction and permit prints, and determine required tasks.
- Serve as main point of contact between Project Manager and field resources. Responsible for overseeing production, quality and safety for up to 2-3 crews on a day-to-day basis.
- This includes reconciliation and reporting construction activities and project status.
- Inspect completed work to ensure that all tasks pertaining to construction were performed to company/customer standards.
- Ensure proper closeout documentation for each phase of each job is completed. Efficiently plan and schedule production with both in-house and subcontractor crews.
- Conduct Quality Audits of both in-house and subcontractor crews monthly. Responsible to meet scheduled production completion dates and maintain project tracker sheets.
- Maintain company issued equipment includes but not limited to Vehicle, PC, and construction tools & equipment.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in telecom construction.
- Ability to pass a drug screening at any time.
- Candidate must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be willing to travel. Advanced knowledge of aerial and underground fiber optic construction methods and procedures.
- Excellent written and oral communication.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic are essential, Computer user skills, including but not limited to: Microsoft Office, Adobe, and web based applications including SmartSheet, ArcGIS, and SharePoint.
