Project Ownership & Management
- Take full ownership of assigned projects, ensuring successful completion.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, delivering high-quality results on schedule and within budget.
- Develop and implement project work plans, recovery plans, and operational strategies to meet objectives.
- Oversee scheduling, forecasting, tracking, and resource planning to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Monitor project execution, quality control, and adherence to corporate values and industry standards.
- Validate material inventories and ensure appropriate resources are allocated to meet project timelines.
- Review assigned projects for accuracy, profitability, and compliance.
- Develop and mentor less experienced project managers through direct support and training.
- Actively coach and mentor team members to foster growth and ensure success.
- Identify and provide training and education resources to enhance employee technical and business knowledge.
- Regularly meet with each team member to review goals, progress, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Evaluate employee performance in accordance with company policy and job requirements.
- Encourage innovation and continuous improvement in project designs and processes.
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, fostering trust and strong working relationships.
- Participate in pre-construction and regular status meetings with clients and vendors to establish clear expectations.
- Maintain open and positive relationships to enhance the company’s image and generate new business opportunities.
- Listen to client needs and implement necessary process or schedule changes.
- Provide consistent updates and feedback to clients regarding project progress.
- Build, develop, and expand key client relationships to strengthen the company’s market position.
- Submit and track Purchase Order (PO) requests, ensuring proper invoicing and reporting.
- Work with clients to obtain PO approvals and manage billing against project milestones.
- Review and approve employee time sheets, expense reports, and invoices.
- Prepare all necessary project reports and closeout documents per job requirements.
- Conduct site walks to validate project plans align with site conditions.
- Perform periodic QA inspections of field projects to ensure compliance with standards.
- Implement operational protocols to measure and enhance service quality.
- Oversee workload deployment, project execution, and overall delivery quality.
- Encourage the adoption of innovative technical solutions to improve efficiency and project success.
- Promote and enforce a strong safety culture among staff and contractors.
- Be available 24/7 to support customers and team members with urgent needs, including emergency maintenance, outages, and quick-turn requests.
- Ensure all operations comply with industry safety standards and regulations.
- Work closely with peers and operations management to ensure project success.
- Encourage collaboration with technical experts in the industry to drive efficiency.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, innovation, and accountability.
- Experience within the Telecommunication/Wireless industry preferred.
- Proven ability to analyze financial reports and budgets to plan the course of the work effectively.
- Proven aptitude to demonstrate knowledge and experience in strategic planning and development.
- Proven experience leading, motivating, and communicating consistently with employees and clients.
- PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
- Must possess at least 5-7 years of experience in a project management role.
- Possess a bachelor's degree in Business Management, Construction Management, or equivalent years of experience.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
