Job Description:
NDi is seeking an Enterprise Engineering Lead who will provide Tier IV enterprise-level engineering leadership in support of our high-valued DOJ customer. The Enterprise Engineering Lead must possess the ability to conduct research, diagnose, troubleshoot, resolve, and report IT issues, while leading a team of skilled engineering professionals. Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- This position is currently hybrid (remote/onsite) and will require working onsite at minimum three days a week.
- Candidate must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.
Qualifications and Experience:
- B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of Enterprise Engineering experience
- Expertise in Azure security principles and best practices, including Azure Active Directory, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Azure Security Center, and data encryption
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Bitbucket, and GitHub) and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies, specifically tailored for Azure environments
- Strong team leadership and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrated capacity to excel under pressure and independently take initiative
- Outstanding communication skills, effective in cross-functional team environments
- Highly detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple data migration projects and priorities simultaneously
- Ability to manage multiple data migration projects and priorities at the same time
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day engineering support, including tools and technologies across all support domains: compute, network, data, and end-user services, as well as other network-related IT issues.
- Provide technical expertise to the program manager and domain facilitators in support of the Government client.
- Lead technical oversight and deliver quality engineering services based on industry best practices and management fundamentals.
- Collaborate with IT professionals and stakeholders to meet the organization's technological needs and strategic objectives.
- Serve as the multi-cloud Engineering Team Lead for all assigned ATR engineering resources.
- Perform functional allocation to identify required tasks and their interrelationships.
- Collaborate with domain facilitators to identify resources required for each task.
- Provide technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized tools and technologies in an operational environment.
- Offer high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and implementation advice on moderately complex problems requiring appropriate subject matter knowledge.
- Apply principles, methods, and knowledge of the functional area to specific task order requirements.
- Assist senior engineers with analysis, evaluation, and preparation of recommendations for system improvements, optimization, and development.
- Advise on organization-wide system improvements, optimization, and enterprise modernization efforts.
- Install and configure computer applications.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain computer networks, ensuring adherence to customer-specific Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
