Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Project Manager with a strong background in leading customers through IT projects, particularly within the federal sector. The ideal candidate will not only have experience in technical project leadership and business analysis, but also demonstrate a keen ability to manage and optimize service delivery operations-including reporting, analysis, and strategic planning.
Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship is required
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
- Must be able to work onsite 5 days a week in Washington DC area, primarily in Mclean VA
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 15 years of experience in project management of IT initiatives, including 2 years supporting federal government customers.
- PMP certification required.
- Proven experience in service delivery operations, including reporting, performance analysis, and strategic planning.
- Strong business analysis capabilities-skilled in gathering requirements, facilitating stakeholder sessions, and translating needs into actionable plans.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage priorities in fast-paced, complex environments.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, ensuring alignment with customer expectations, timelines, and budgets.
- Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams and federal clients, maintaining transparent and proactive communication.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather business requirements, identify process improvements, and deliver value-driven solutions
Drive service delivery operations, including:
- Designing and delivering reports and dashboards to track KPIs, SLAs, and operational health.
- Conducting in-depth analysis of performance data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Developing and executing strategic plans to enhance service quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and manage project scope, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and change control processes.
- Ensure compliance with federal standards, policies, and security protocols throughout project lifecycle.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement through retrospectives, stakeholder feedback, and process optimization.
- Support organizational growth by leading initiatives in business operations, strategic planning, and team development.
