At Network for Hope (NFH), we understand that education and training play a crucial role in the success of our organ recovery efforts. As an Organ Services Educator , you will be the subject matter expert responsible for the training, development, and ongoing support of our Organ Recovery Coordinators (ORCs). Through your guidance, you will ensure that all team members are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and support needed to excel in their roles, while also meeting regulatory and NFH expectations.
Key Responsibilities :
Training & Education Development
- Collaborate with Organ / Clinical leadership and the Education & Development (E&D) Manager to design and deliver comprehensive training programs for new ORC staff, including onboarding, certification preparation, and continuous education.
- Keep training materials current by regularly updating them to reflect the latest policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Facilitate both in-field and classroom training sessions, utilizing hands-on simulation and virtual environments where applicable.
- Ensure that new ORC team members are exposed to both practical fieldwork and classroom learning for a well-rounded training experience.

Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and / or work experience in a clinical setting required.
Experience : Two years of critical care experience in healthcare required. Minimum 18 months experience as an Organ Recovery Coordinator required. Experience in a similar role responsible for donor management, allocation, and organ recovery management will be reviewed and considered on a case-by-case basis. Previous experience as educator or conducting instructor-led clinical based training including designing materials preferred.
Licensure, Certification, and / or Registration : Certified Procurement Transplant Coordinator (CPTC) required
