As a Recruiter, you will play a crucial role in attracting, selecting, and onboarding top talent to join our organization. You will work closely with hiring managers and the Human Resources team to develop and implement efficient recruitment processes that align with legal and governmental compliance. Your expertise in talent acquisition and ability to foster a welcoming candidate experience will ensure NFH continues to grow with dedicated and skilled professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Develop, facilitate, and manage all phases of the recruitment process.
- Create job postings and oversee job advertisement processes using the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other platforms.
- Screen applicants to evaluate work history, education, skills, and salary requirements, referring qualified candidates to hiring managers.
- Identify and implement effective recruiting strategies tailored to organizational needs.
- Promote NFH at job fairs, college recruiting events, and other external recruitment initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with applicants, hiring managers, and leadership to ensure a collaborative hiring process.
- Meet regularly with hiring managers to assess current and future staffing needs.
- Prepare interview questions and materials to support the selection process.
- Train and coach hiring managers and interview teams on best practices and legal compliance in recruitment.
- Organize and lead post-interview feedback sessions.
- Track and solicit employee referrals for open positions.
Offer Management & Onboarding
- Obtain pay quotes from the Director of Human Resources.
- Extend job offers to selected candidates, collaborating with hiring managers on salary, start dates, and incentives.
- Provide candidates with comprehensive information on NFH operations, benefits, and career opportunities.
- Assist with onboarding tasks, including offer letters, background checks, and orientation coordination.
- Support new hires with career development planning and internal job placements.
Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as NFH policies.
- Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities and candidate communication in the ATS.
- Provide regular updates to the Director of Human Resources on open positions and candidate progress.
- Stay informed on recruiting trends and innovative techniques to enhance the hiring process.
- Analyze and recommend improvements to recruitment workflows for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
Special Projects & Additional Duties
- Participate in cross-functional projects and special initiatives as needed.
- Expand HR and recruitment knowledge by attending educational events, networking sessions, and industry conferences.
Qualifications
Education: Post-secondary education such as an Associate degree in human resources, business, or people-related field (sociology, organizational psychology) required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Extensive related experience may be substituted for educational requirements where applicable.
Experience: Three to five years of recruitment experience required. Experience with recruitment of multiple positions in varying departments and degrees of skill and educational levels is required. Healthcare recruiting background is preferred. Familiarity with applicant tracking software is strongly preferred. A strong understanding of legal and ethical recruitment practices is required.
