NFTE is seeking a Senior Manager, Special Projects and Global Operations to provide strategic leadership across global operations, special initiatives, and enterprise activities. This role plays a critical part in advancing organizational priorities and addressing cross-departmental capacity needs.
Position Overview
The Senior Manager, Special Projects and Global Operations will manage global program operations, lead special initiatives, and support enterprise revenue activities. The role is pivotal in building capacity for executive priorities, developing a high-functioning performance management process, and ensuring partner and program excellence. Reporting to the Director of Global Programs and with accountability to executive leadership, the Senior Manager supervises program staff and collaborates across departments to drive operational efficiency, program quality, and financial sustainability.
Core Responsibilities
Special Projects and Executive Support
- Lead and execute critical special projects identified by executive leadership, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes.
- Develop and implement a coherent performance evaluation process for all staff, meeting internal and external standards.
- Provide legal expertise in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing contracts, waivers, and other legal documents for special initiatives, global programming, and enterprise activities.
- Support planning and delivery of executive initiatives, such as strategic partner collaborations, capacity-building projects, and organizational priorities.
Enterprise and Revenue Generation
- Build and refine NFTE’s enterprise framework to generate sustainable revenue from mission-aligned services.
- Oversee the development and implementation of pricing strategies, service packages, and partner agreements.
- Support revenue generation through new partner cultivation and the management of existing enterprise contracts.
- Collaborate on go-to-market strategies for new products and services that align with NFTE’s educational mission.
Global Program Operations
- Act as the central coordinator for global contract activities, collaborating with regional teams and functional leads to ensure timely execution and compliance.
- Manage global partner onboarding processes, contract deliverables, and key milestones in a matrixed structure.
- Develop standardized tools and processes to support effective project management and resource allocation across global initiatives.
- Serve as the primary liaison for contract-related inquiries, adjustments, and issue resolution in partnership with program team and other stakeholders.
- Provide project management support for the World Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge (WYEC), coordinating logistics, partner engagement, and key deliverables to ensure successful event execution.
Regional and Partner Support
- Provide data tracking, reporting, and strategic oversight to regional teams, ensuring alignment with NFTE’s goals.
- Act as a key resource for partner onboarding, troubleshooting, and operational support.
- Foster collaboration between global and regional teams to optimize impact and efficiency.
Data, Reporting, and Financial Oversight
- Oversee data collection and KPI tracking for global and special projects, leveraging systems such as Salesforce.
- Manage budget tracking for global programs and enterprise activities, ensuring fiscal accountability.
- Prepare performance and impact reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in operations management, business administration, international development, or a related field (advanced degree highly preferred).
Experience:
- 7 years in program management, operations, or revenue-generating activities, preferably in international education or nonprofits.
- Demonstrated ability to manage special projects with high-level stakeholders and deliver outcomes within tight timeframes.
- Proven experience with performance management, partner onboarding, and compliance processes.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with an ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Expertise in data management tools (e.g., Salesforce, Excel), with the ability to train and support team members.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on cross-departmental leadership.
- Cultural fluency and adaptability to work across diverse international regions and partners.
Working Environment
This is a full-time remote position with occasional travel for program activities, partner onboarding, and major events. Flexibility to work across time zones is required to support international operations and partners.
