What are the responsibilities and job description for the EZ CAP SOFTWARE DEVELOPER position at Network Medical Management Inc?
GENERAL SUMMARY
The EZ-CAP Software Developer will be responsible for Maintaining and enhancing existing in-house EZ-CAP/EZ-CARE/EZ-EDI applications and processes. He/she will be responsible for enhancing and migrating data into the EZ-CAP application that power corporate operations and ensuring that they scale to meet the needs of our rapid growth.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Expert understanding of healthcare managed care system (Min 5 yrs.)
- Experience with Managed care applications like EZ-CAP, QuickCAP or similar.
- Evaluate the data and load it into SQL tables.
- Ability to write SQL Queries and tune them for performance.
- Ability to extract data from SQL data or excel to CSV and Fixed width files.
- Extract the data and transform the data into EZ-CAP database format.
- Apply cross walks to manipulate the data based on business needs.
- Test the EZ-CAP/EZ-CARE/EZ-EDI application to ensure the data loaded is correct and pass validations.
- Great communication skills to work with users on fixing EZ-CAP related issues.
- Good at understanding of requirements and estimation.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of EZ-CAP software system including but not limited to -
- Eligibility (Members, Healthplan, benefits)
- Claims (Pricing, Payment processing, Adjudication)
- Providers (Contracts, class, PCP)
- Vendors
- Benefits
- Capitation
- Expert in .NET framework and development languages: C#, Visual Basic, Python
- Advance knowledge of MS SQL Server SQL- Hands on developer T- SQL stored procedures, Triggers and functions.
- Knows how to use SQL profiler and SSIS packages.
- Experience with loading, transforming and massaging SQL databases and tables and working with large datasets.
- Understand X12 Claims 837 file format and able to transform into other formats.
- Experience with MS Office 365.
- Demonstrated understanding of projects from the perspective of both client and business
- Customer service oriented
- Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
