What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrician - Apprentice position at Networking Technolgies & Support?
NTS is hiring an Electrician - Apprentice to install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with relevant codes.
Responsibilities :
- Serves as the technical point of contact for electrical work provided to clients on-site. Inspects electrical systems / equipment / components to identify hazards / defects / etc. to ensure compliance with applicable codes.4
- Responds to the needs and questions of users concerning their electrical needs, resolving problems as they occur (regularly requires on-site visits).
- Recommends or performs minor remedial actions to correct problems based on knowledge of electrical equipment. Escalates issues as needed.
- Submit reporting of work completed and other necessary business reports as required (timesheets, expense reports, etc.)
- Plans layout and installation of electrical wiring, and equipment / fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes. Tests systems and work completed ensuring compatibility and safety of the system.
Requirements
Pay : $28 - $30 per hour
