Are you looking for a rewarding career in healthcare? Networks Connect Professional Staffing is hiring Medical Receptionists to join a leading healthcare system in Indianapolis! This team plays a vital role as being the first point of contact for patients, family members, and other stakeholders while ensuring a smooth and positive check-in experience. Our needs include working the Emergency Department (ED) as well as various Inpatient and Outpatient Clinics. Hours will vary on department. Expect first shift hours for Outpatient and 12-hour four on/four off shifts for the Emergency Department.
What You’ll Do:
· Greet and check in patients with a friendly and professional attitude
· Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information with high accuracy
· Collect copayments and outstanding balances at the time of service
· Assist patients with scheduling follow-up appointments and answering general inquiries
· Navigate electronic medical records (EMR) systems to locate and update patient information
· Work closely with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
What We’re Looking For:
· High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
· 1-Year of relevant Customer Service experience (Required)-Healthcare experience a plus!
· Strong communication and problem-solving skills
· Ability to multitask and work with attention to detail
