Neu Appliances has a high volume of video content produced daily. We host 3 (separate) weekly podcasts with some of the most influential experts in our industry. Each podcast has their own unique audience and content strategy to support the podcast. We create a laundry list of content to support each channel and extract shorter pieces of content from each long form podcast.

A Business Self help channel focused on the appliance industry. We bring on guests that are retail business owners to outline how they run their businesses and tips and tricks they have picked up along the way. We cover all business topics from marketing, merchandising, sourcing and all other business topics.

Deliverables
Each long form podcast video is pre-recorded and displays more like an engaging long form video that is supported by B-Roll and other content we shoot in preparation of each episode. Each channel has supporting videos posted by our hosts and our own recorded videos.

The Role
We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor / Videographer to support our video production manager. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through visual media and possess strong technical skills in video editing and post-production. You will be responsible for transforming raw footage into polished, engaging content that aligns with our brand's vision and objectives. This role requires a keen eye for detail, creativity, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, shooting, and editing video content.
• Operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment during shoots.
• Edit footage into high-quality videos using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
• Occasionally appear on camera for specific projects or segments.
• Collaborate with the video production manager to ensure consistency in style and brand messaging.
• Organize and maintain video production equipment and files.
• Stay up-to-date on video production trends to enhance creativity and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in video editing with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro, and other relevant editing software.
• Solid understanding of post-production processes, including sound design and color correction.
• Experience in videography , along with knowledge of cinema techniques.
• Familiarity with content creation strategies across various digital platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• A creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
