The Director, Compliance will oversee and lead day-to-day compliance activities for NeueHealth's clinics located in Florida and Texas. NeueHealth is value-based care organization that includes in its portfolio primary care providers operating close to 50 clinics in Miami, Orlando, Dallas and Houston with expansion plans in FL, TX and beyond. Responsibilities include overseeing the execution of the core elements of an effective compliance program to include policy and procedure development, training, auditing/monitoring, reporting, tracking and implementing new regulations, and privacy/HIPAA requirements.

Role Responsibilities

• Identify areas of compliance vulnerability and risk and direct the development and implementation of work plan action plans to address.
• Provide independent assessment to ensure that compliance/ethics issues and concerns are being appropriately evaluated, investigated and resolved.
• Oversee the development and implementation of policies and procedures that address regulatory and legal requirements applicable to Centrum's business to include the False Claims Act, Antikickback, Stark, Pharmacy, Privacy/HIPAA, Ethics, Environmental/Safety.
• Develop auditing, monitoring, and training strategies to oversee and support operational areas to ensure compliance with law, regulation, and policy.
• Collaborate with legal and other compliance professionals to support the overall legal and compliance mission for all of NeueHealth's lines of business
• Supervise compliance support staff
  
  

Education, Training, And Professional Experience

• Eight (8) or more years' experience in various regulatory compliance and compliance leadership required. Provider and care delivery compliance experience strongly preferred.
• Five (5) or more years' experience leading a compliance function preferred.
• Travel required 10%
• Bilingual English and Spanish fluency is required.

• Extensive knowledge of industry standard health compliance practices for providers and health systems
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Experience organizing and managing large volumes of information and data in effective and efficient systems.
