Neulife of Michigan provides rehabilitation and residential services for individuals with
Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), Spinal Cord Injuries, and Neurological Disorders.
Summary : Provides services to home care patients in accordance with the Plan of Care. Services are provided under the direction of the Program Manager with participation of the family and other members of the interdisciplinary team, as indicated.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assess patients' needs through observations, medical records, tests, and talking with other healthcare professionals, patients' families, and patients.
- Follow treatment plans and programs that meet patients' needs and interests.
- Plan and implement interventions and rehabilitative activities.
- Engage patients in therapeutic activities, such as functional skill development.
- Help patients learn social skills needed to become or remain independent.
- Teach patients about ways to cope with anxiety or depression.
- Record and analyze patients' progress.
- Evaluate interventions for effectiveness.
- Listen to the patients' concerns and or requests.
- Must be compassionate and have a friendly demeanor.
- Excellent communication and time management skills are required.
- Other tasks as assigned.
