NeuLine Health is seeking a Lab Administrator to join our cohesive team. We’re strategically expanding our neurodiagnostic testing service teams throughout the United States. NeuLine Health is an instrumental liaison for physicians to provide their patients with quality in-home neurodiagnostic testing services. Our structured ambulatory services afford patients the advantage of receiving exceptional care by certified EEG & Sleep Techs in the convenience of their homes. A successful Lab Administrator will perform as follows:
Position Objective: The Lab Administrator is responsible for managing all aspects of the clinic’s laboratory operations, including staffing, budgeting, quality control, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This position also works closely with physicians, technicians, and other healthcare staff to deliver accurate lab results in a timely manner and provide high-quality patient care.
Core Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the clinic laboratory, ensuring smooth workflows and proper utilization of equipment and resources.
Ensure the laboratory adheres to all relevant health and safety regulations, including CLIA (Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments), HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), and other state and federal guidelines.
Implement quality assurance and quality control protocols to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of lab test results. Investigate discrepancies or complaints and make necessary adjustments.
Manage the procurement of laboratory supplies and equipment. Monitor inventory levels and maintain appropriate stock levels for lab operations. Develop and manage the lab’s budget to ensure cost-effective practices
Ensure proper documentation of all laboratory activities, including test results, maintenance logs, and regulatory reports. Implement and maintain secure electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring staff follows all safety procedures for handling specimens, chemicals, and hazardous materials.
Maintaining a professional demeanor at all times
Practicing within the realm of HIPAA compliance at all times
