Job Title: Browser Engineer
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Duration: Long Term
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/electronics or related field.
• 5 year software development experience with Linux and embedded devices
• Software skills: C/C programming required.
• Experience working on web browser engines such as Webkit
• Experience developing multi-threaded and high-performance software.
• Solid understanding of web technologies, including HTTP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• deep understanding of browser engine internals and architecture.
• Solid understanding of Webkit networking stack and protocols such as WebSocket and WebRTC
• Good exposure in development of multimedia pipelines using HTML5 media controls and GStreamer
• Familiarity with Yocto, OpenGL ES, Wayland protocol is desirable.
• Contribution to open-source browser projects such as Webkit/Chromium is added advantage (should be able to provide OSS project links/references)
