Job Summary:
Specialized skill set to design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in network security principles, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and security protocols to protect enterprise networks against cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage secure network architectures to protect company assets.
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents, vulnerabilities, and threats in real-time.
- Configure and maintain firewalls (e.g., Cisco ASA, Palo Alto), VPNs, IDS/IPS, and other security appliances.
- Perform risk and vulnerability assessments to identify security weaknesses.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices to comply with industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, NERC CIP).
- Implement and manage zero-trust security models, endpoint security, and identity access controls.
- Conduct security audits, patch management, and regular updates to network security infrastructure.
- Provide incident response support and forensic investigation in support of the computing environment.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security best practices in network and cloud environments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in network security engineering, cybersecurity, or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and DDoS mitigation.
- Hands-on experience with security tools like Splunk, NetScout, vulnerability scanners, and endpoint protection platforms.
- Familiarity with cloud security (Cloudhub, AWS, Azure, Mule) and security frameworks.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CCNP Security, PCNSA/PCNSE, CEH, CompTIA Security , or equivalent are a plus.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
