Job Description :

The role supports requirements gathering, process analysis, and documentation for MySchools. The project includes addressing multi-stakeholder needs such as admissions policies, user accessibility, and integration with existing DOE systems like IBM Security Access Manager and ATS.

Responsibilities :

Work closely with DOE staff and technical teams to elicit and document functional and non-functional requirements.

Conduct a thorough gap analysis of current vs. desired system capabilities and propose actionable solutions.

Develop detailed process maps, mockups, and flowcharts to visualize workflows for admissions, waitlist management, and enrollment.

Support testing by validating that developed features align with requirements, ensuring compliance with DOE policies (FERPA, WCAG).

Collaborate with system architects to ensure feasibility and scalability of proposed solutions.

Qualifications :

Minimum of 4 years of experience in business analysis for IT systems.

Familiarity with education-specific applications and regulations (e.g., WCAG 2.0, FERPA, Education Law 2-d).

Expertise in creating flowcharts, mockups, user stories, and process improvement documents.

Knowledge of tools such as Lucidchart, Visio, and Jira.
