Neurala is a technology leader in vision AI applications for the industrial sector, and our customers include some of the top manufacturers and industrial hardware providers in the world. Over the coming years, Neurala will be expanding and deepening our integrations with key processor and sensor manufacturers, and we are looking for a Product Designer to join the product team.

We are looking for a creative and user-centric Product Designer to join our team. Reporting to the Lead Product Designer, you will be instrumental in designing intuitive and visually compelling user experiences that elevate our products. Working closely with product managers, engineers, and researchers, you will drive innovative design solutions that align with user needs and business objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain design systems and UI components to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to understand user needs and business goals.
- Touch every piece of the design process from concept to execution, including research, wireframing, prototyping, and final visual designs.
- Refine UX documentation to clearly communicate design concepts and solutions.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to inform design decisions.
- Translate complex ideas into user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing interfaces.
- Iterate designs based on user feedback, analytics, and evolving business needs.
- Stay up-to-date with design trends, tools, and best practices to drive innovation.
Important skills & experience
- 2 years experience as a Product Designer, UX/UI Designer, or similar role.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of UX and UI design projects.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or similar.
- Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to clearly present and explain design concepts.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Understanding of front-end development principles (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience designing for responsive web and/or manufacturing software.
- Experience designing for Ai software products.
- Knowledge of design systems and component libraries.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile development environment.
- Familiarity with accessibility and inclusive design principles.
This role is remote with occasional in-person meetings in Neurala’s Boston office. This role could include occasional domestic and international travel. Meetings scheduled in Eastern Standard Time (EST).
