About the Organization
Neuro-Insight, the world's preeminent neuromarketing and neuro-analytics firm, is looking to hire a team of Lab Assistants. Neuro-Insight studies the brain and its response to various stimuli, most frequently, advertising. Our research allows us to tap into human motivation and desire so that we can help brands answer their most pressing questions. We do this using our own patented EEG-like technology that measures neurological responses on a second-by-second basis (SST™).
About the Role
We are looking for someone who is passionate, curious, and innovative to join our team. This individual will work closely with our Fieldwork Team to collect data and manage our in-house laboratory when running sessions. This is an unprecedented opportunity to work hands-on in a commercial neuroscience lab facilitating cutting-edge market research. This is an on-site, contracted position in Soho, New York that may include intermittent domestic and international travel.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Neuroscience, Psychology, Business or Marketing.
- Previous human subjects research experience strongly preferred
- Technological proficiency: Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office Suite required
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- High level of demonstrated accountability, organizational skills and professionalism, and close attention to detail, are must-haves for success in this role
- Astute problem-solving skills; ability to recognize urgency and priority of problems
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively
- Basic statistics experience preferred; experience managing and organizing databases is a bonus
- Some experience and comfort level with troubleshooting hardware (e.g. PC connections, audio/video, basic electronics)
