We are searching for Medical Assistants (MA)
Applicants must be proficient handling Medical Front Office duties (i.e. Patient Scheduling, Patient Check-ins and Check-outs, Billing/Coding, Professional Customer Service, EMR, etc.)
Duties assigned to our Medical Assistant will require advanced computer skills, written and oral communication, attention to detail, confidentiality, ability to prioritize and the discretion to know when to act independently and when to ask for guidance. MUST have a positive, team-orientated attitude! Our number one priority is always Patient Care; therefore MA's must have patient-focus, and attention to detail.
Job Summary:
The MEDICAL ASSISTANT will provide support to the Clinic Manager and have direct one-on-one contact with patients. In addition, preparing patients for examinations and/or treatments, performing therapies, data entry, filing and other duties are assigned as needed.
Additional duties will require administrative duties at the Front Desk in a medical practice. Front Desk Associates are responsible for delivering the highest level of customer service to patients and visitors when greeting and/or answering phones. Associate must ensure that all company policies and procedures are adhered to.
Job duties:
Answers and fields all incoming calls, scheduling patients, greeting patients, obtains all necessary patient paperwork, verifies and registers patients information into system, creates patients charts, coordinates and monitors patient flow in and out of the clinic, ensures patient compliance by calling and monitoring patient reminder calls and confirmation processes, responsible for cleanliness of assigned area, compiles daily and weekly patient reports, ordering office supplies as necessary, assists Clinic Manager as requested on various tasks, performs daily open and close procedures
Minimum Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant Experience
- Strong knowledge of Medical Office procedures
- Medical Assistant Certification a PLUS
- High school graduate (minimum)
- Strong organizational skills
- Self-starter
- Advanced computer skills and ability to learn new computer software
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, verbally, and in writing
- Self-motivated attitude

- Positive approach; Team-oriented
- Experience with Medical Records / Billing and Coding (CPT) / a PLUS
- Bi-lingual SPANISH a PLUS
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
