About the Role:
As an Associate Director of Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) at Neurocrine, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing on evidence generation strategies. Your primary goal will be to generate evidence to characterize the value of Neurocrine's marketed products or developmental compounds throughout the drug life cycle. The role will primarily support our exciting new launch of Crenessity for Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (CAH). Having prior experience in CAH, endocrinology, and/or rare diseases is a plus, as is experience with survey-based methodologies. Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills are essential, along with a proven ability to foster and manage relationships effectively.The role will include cross-functional engagement with key stakeholders across Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, Brand, Commercial Analytics, GAPP, Corporate Communications, LTC Account Teams, Market Access, Managed Care Liaison, and Medical Science Liaison teams. Your efforts will result in the development of crucial evidence that enables patients, clinicians, policy makers and payers to make well-informed decisions regarding Neurocrine products. Your insights and leadership will be vital in shaping the perception and understanding of Neurocrine's offerings in the healthcare landscape.

Your Contributions (include but are not limited to):Craft and execute functional strategies, translating them into operational plans.
Prioritize and propose project designs to generate product-specific evidence for value assessment, clinical differentiation and market access.
Collaborate effectively with internal partners to meet the evidence needs of internal and external consumers.
Manage vendors, ensuring they meet contractual obligations and contribute to their selection and evaluation.
Meet assigned goals and recommend and develop talent within the team for efficient operation.
Provide guidance to subordinate managers across various areas and operations.
Resolve complex business and scientific problems, applying advanced analytical thought and developing innovative solutions.
Regularly engage with cross-functional leaders to influence strategy and negotiate decisions within your area of responsibility.
Represent Neurocrine at professional internal and external events, showcasing data and findings
Additional duties as assigned
MS degree in health outcomes/economics or related field and 8 years of pharmaceutical industry experience in a HEOR role with direct research experience preferred; completion of an HEOR 2-year fellowship with a research focus desired OR
PhD or PharmD in health outcomes/economics or related field and 5 years of similar experience noted above
Previous managerial / functional management experience also required
Emerging as an internal thought leader with technical and/or business expertise
Applies in-depth knowledge of own area of expertise to solve problems
Applies in-depth understanding and may guide others on how own discipline integrates within the department as well as impact to other departments and understands contribution to Neurocrine's achievement of business objectives
Proven expertise in the creation of U.S. based HTA submission materials (AMCP format Dossier, Budget Impact Models, Cost effectiveness/offset models, ICER submissions, etc.)
Ability to synthesize complex clinical and non-clinical statistical and medical information to effectively communicate medical and scientific information are required
Excellent SAS or other statistical programming skills
- Analysis of large databases and possible economic modeling highly preferred
Strong knowledge in research protocol and analysis plan development, analysis of large databases and possible economic modeling is highly preferred
Expertise in engaging large U.S. based payors or HTA organizations
Field role experience as a medical or managed care liaison is a plus

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $168,400.00-$243,700.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 30% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
