Weekend (Part Time) Research Associate.
If you are interested in a lab-based role with the opportunity to work with various laboratory techniques, this opportunity may be for you! As a Weekend Research Associate you will be responsible for maintaining
cell cultures and various other important tasks.
This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional during their MSc or PhD, looking for a part time position. As a Weekend (Saturday –Sunday 9AM to 5PM) Laboratory Technician focused on maintaining cell cultures over the weekends and holidays.
This position may suit you best if you would like to develop your career in biotech and meet the following criteria :
PhD or MSc candidate or graduate in cell biology or related discipline.
Preferred degree from the US in Life Sciences.
Extensive hands-on experience working with various cell cultures : maintenance, passaging, etc.
Stem cell and / or neuronal cell culture experience is preferred.
Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
