Medical Support Assistant to join our private practice team at Neurology Care. Duties:
- Leading patients from exam rooms to checkout
- Ensure timely and secure delivery of confidential patient information
- Maintain stocked supplies in patient rooms and other areas of the office
- Develop and maintain relationships with staff at other healthcare facilities
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed, such as data entry or filing
- Adhering to company policies and procedures
- Comply with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and walk long distances
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills
- Previous experience working on clinical support, medical support, medical running, or in a related field
- Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations Experience with electronic medical records EMRs)
Work Environment:
- This is a full-time position, approximately 40 hours per week Must be available to work Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
