The Clinical Research Assistant is responsible for activities related to clinical research trials performed at Neurology Diagnostics. Familiarity with all the studies and protocols is necessary for completion of job duties. This is an entry level position that requires excellent communication with the clinical research team for coordination and completion of tasks related to clinical research.
The Clinical Research Assistant engages research subjects for recruitment, testing, and scheduling visits requiring excellent interpersonal and communicative skills.
Clinical Research Assistant Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain temperature logs
- Maintain inventory of research supplies
- Review EMR (electronic medical record) prior to patient visits for potential candidates
- Request medical records
- Collect vital signs, and perform ECGs
- Clinical experience in an office setting
- Schedule and confirm research appointments
- Review emails and coordinate communication with the research team
- Perform blood draws, process and ship blood/urine specimens per study protocol and IATA regulations.
- Assist research team with subject visits following direction of coordinators
- All other duties as assigned including cross-training to other clinic roles as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a healthcare setting

Pay: $30,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
