Description
THE NEUROMEDICAL CENTER is currently seeking a certified/licensed Physician Assistant to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will have experience in interventional pain management, spine surgery, or orthopedic settings and possess the ability to work effectively in various medical settings.
Responsibilities include:
- New patient evaluations and established patient reevaluations which include initiating, documenting, and communicating the plan of care.
- Write orders and provide prescription management, ordering procedures, post-procedure management, and maintenance of intrathecal drug delivery pumps.
- Assisting in other clinic work including chart review.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of EMR system, organizational skills, and time management a plus.
- Must have a current PA/NP license and be certified in Louisiana.
Education Required: Master's Degree
Experience Required:1 year preferred
Preferably part-time 2-3 days per week, full-time negotiable.
Available to travel to satellite clinics.
Weekday hours, with no call requirement or hospital rounds.
