We are looking for a highly motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team. This hands-on individual will assist with all warehouse shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution activities while maintaining a safe and stabilized work environment. Ensures products, materials, and supplies are efficiently shipped, distributed, or received. Responsible for taking precautions to secure warehouse contents against loss.
Job Responsibilities:
Collaborate with peers to ensure the efficient shipment or receipt of outbound or inbound materials, parts, or products.
Maintain accountability for receiving, storing, and delivering all inbound shipments.
Ensure the accuracy of all receiving documents by collecting and matching forms (PO, packing slip, computer printout) related to receiving activities.
Study operational procedures to enhance efficiency within the warehouse.
Examine outbound shipments to ensure they meet specifications and prepare parcels and freight in compliance with local, company, and legal requirements.
Track and document all shipping or receiving information for the data center.
Maintain communication and engagement with managers, vendors, and internal customers.
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong understanding of warehousing, inventory control, shipping/receiving, and general logistics fundamentals.
Ability to lead multiple activities concurrently.
Strong teammate with experience working in multi-functional teams.
Capable of integrating information from various sources to prioritize and manage operations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Forward-thinking self-starter with strong leadership capabilities.
OSHA Forklift Certification or eligibility for certification.
Proficient in utilizing available tools and equipment to complete tasks efficiently.
Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Knowledge, Experience, and Abilities:
High School Diploma or Bachelors degree recommended.
Experience with Helpdesk or Ticketing Systems is a plus.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written, over the phone and in person.
Friendly, helpful attitude, with a responsible and dependable nature.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to complete tasks on time.
Strong work ethic and flexibility required.
Self-motivated problem-solver with a professional demeanor.
Ability to seek assistance from the Manager when delays arise or are repetitive.
Ability to achieve cooperation and collaboration among team members.
Provide support to end users and respond to Help Desk tickets.
Demonstrate objectivity, professionalism, integrity, and honesty in dealing with people at all levels and facilitate an open and honest environment.
Working Conditions:
Regular work in a warehouse setting: frequently lifting, stooping/bending, squatting/crouching, balancing; lifting and carrying 50 lbs.; sufficient mobility to enter/exit vehicles and drive to various locations.
Standard business hours with occasional overtime to meet project deadlines.
Ability to manage stress and maintain productivity under tight deadlines and changing priorities.
Regular interaction with team members, clients, and other stakeholders through various communication channels.
Physical Demands:
Ability to maintain stationary position for extended periods.
Occasionally required to move short to moderate distances.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
