Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide memory care and support for individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments.
- Monitor patients’ health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Support clients with mobility needs, including lifting and transferring when necessary.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote emotional well-being.
- Assist with home health tasks, including medication reminders and basic housekeeping duties.
- Provide hospice care when needed, ensuring comfort and dignity for clients at the end of life.
- Work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities, adapting care approaches as required.
Skills
- Experience in caregiving or related fields such as nursing or home health is preferred.
- Knowledge of memory care techniques and dementia care strategies is highly desirable.
- Ability to lift and assist clients safely while ensuring their comfort and dignity.
- Strong patient monitoring skills to observe changes in client health status effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact compassionately with clients, families, and healthcare teams.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
