Job Responsibilities
As a Utilization Review Nurse, your primary responsibility will be to ensure effective utilization of health resources while promoting seamless coordination of patient care. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to achieve this goal. Additionally, you will provide education to nursing staff, leadership team, and providers regarding documentation and actively collaborate with the business office to resolve appeals/denials and retrospective reviews.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in the state of Indiana required.
- Strong knowledge of medications and excellent communication skills.
