Overview
NeuroPsychiatric Hospitals is looking for an Intake Clerks for our growing department to assist with the administrative functions of our intake department. This position is housed in South Bend at our Corporate Headquarters, and provides intake and admissions support to our 9 hospitals across the country.

Responsibilities
- Answers the department telephone.
- Enter patient referrals, including basic demographics.
- Maintains the intake follow up list and assists intake coordinators with follow up requests.
- Observes and supports hospital policy, mission statement, and vision. Supports and enforces infection-control policies and procedures.
- Contributes to the collection and evaluation of data for the nursing Quality Review Program. Contributes to Performance Improvement activities.
- Maintains a professional approach with confidentiality. Assures protection and privacy of health information as attained through written, electronic or oral disclosures.
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience: Experience in marketing, community relations, or discharge planning preferred. Proficiency in data entry and various computer systems preferred.
CPR and CPI certification required but may be obtained during orientation, if applicable.
