For more than 40 years, Neutronic Stamping and Plating has been manufacturing high quality electronic contacts, pins, and lead-frames.
Neutronic Stamping and Plating provides high speed, high volume stamping and continuous reel-to-reel plating. We have built a reputation for producing superior carbide dies that produce stamped parts to the highest tolerance and quality standards.
We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to oversee our production operations, planning/scheduling, purchasing, outside services, shipping/receiving and Inventory. Our ideal candidate must comprehend complex operations. You should be able to optimize day-to-day activities while minimizing the costs.
Responsibilities
- Supervises production staff to ensure products are produced in compliance with internal processing instructions.
- Supervises production staff to ensure plant safety practices are enforced.
- Suggests and implements improvements to production processes.
- Reviews production schedules to ensure adequate staffing, resources and materials are available to meet customer demands.
- Reviews inventory control procedures to ensure that proper materials are used during the production process.
- Executes personnel policies regarding assigned staff to include hiring, training, performance appraisals and salary administration.
- Responsible for control of variable manufacturing expenses.
- Reports variances in production operations; variable expenses and production efficiencies.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree preferred or sufficient product/ process experience to problem solve departmental production issues.
- Minimum of (8-10) ten years’ experience in production management
- Experience in variety of Metal Stampings (Close Tolerance) and running Punch Press operations is a plus
- Advanced skills in MS Office
- Experience with ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949 Quality Systems
- Bilingual a plus, but not required.
- Must possess excellent math skills.
- Must possess excellent reasoning ability and problem skills.
- Must be able to work and develop a team environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
